Rosengård riots

Photo: Som jag ser det 68
This is how it looked in infamous Rosengård, Malmö during Thursday night.
Rocks were thrown, arsons, rockets were fired at firefighters and the police, barricades were put up and set on fire.
One resident of Rosengård told the newspaper Expressen:
"It's chaos. It's worse than Beirut which I left 30 years ago!"
Planning on a trip to the middle east? No need. Please feel welcome and wisit the new culturally enriched Sweden.

Well, it's a multicultural society now. :)

It's amazing how those in power have become such fascists, oppressing others by calling them fascists. Goebbels should have thought of that - he could have called anyone who was against the Holocaust or the overrunning of Europe a "fascist".

Ah, but the name didn't have the same appeal until after the fascists had done their work. Back then, they demonized someone by calling him a Jew.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

There is a plus side, isn't there? Are there good ethnic restaurants in Malmo now?

Well, I don't know of there is such a fantastic "food culture" being imported from elsewhere. In the 70:s- long before the mass importation of people, mainly from the ME- we ate "Mimma" shaved reindeer meat in a bread with vegetables and a sauce (Döner Kebab).

We also ate "Varma mackor"- bread toasted in the oven with tomato sauce, toppings and cheeze (pizza).

We also had Hamburgers and Tex- Mex- long before any American invaded the village of Vettasjärvi where I'm born (as far as I know there is still no American there).

Strange- isn't it?

When it comes to food, we Swedes has much more exotic dishes. Fermented herring and palt for example.
HEH!
